Meeting the challenge of translating data into stories/messages

Meeting the challenge of translating data into stories/messages

Our study tour on Communicating Climate Change using Data Toolkits, started today (15 November).   The fifth and final in the series of Climate Change (virtual) Study Tours for the EU delegation in South Africa and the German government, this programme is designed to help anyone who struggles with communicate matters pertaining to about Climate Change (or science/complex topics for that matter) and who were ALSO excited by the possibility of using data/graphic content to share knowledge and stimulate citizen buy-in  to climate-change action.  The request for an opportunity to be better equipped to use data information which can cross any language/ literacy-level/economic/cultural/geographic divides, featured the most frequently in participants’ feedback on the previous (virtual) Study Tour for journalists/writers/communicators.

We are proud to present these commendable experts as speakers and grateful for their generous contribution in their time, expertise, advising on content and sharing of their toolkits!
