South Peninsula Ablaze!

The South Peninsula of Cape Town is ablaze today.  It began on Saturday and has spread – virtually unabated – due to very high winds currently whipping the mountainsides.  The Volunteer Wildfire Services are doing their best, but it is a pretty hard fight to have right now.  Chapmans Peak and Ou Kaapse Weg are both closed with the communities of Noordhoek and Sunvalley under significant threat… and Houtbay soon within...
