PRE/POST TOUR OPTIONS & PROCESS

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REVIEW ALL INFORMATION AND MAKE BOOKINGS

There are 19 Pre- and Post-Conference Tour options and 19 Day Tour options.

Making your choice

  1. Tour options are listed and described in "View Tours" below – you can click on each tour in the index to find out more.
  2. For summary and important information on the tours, inclusions and exclusions and more detail on prices, please open the “Fact Sheet”.
  3. For Pre/Post Tours’ detailed day-by-day summary of daily content (locations, activities, meals etc.) and detailed description of most content, please open “Itineraries ”.
  4. For a visual summary of the types of tours on offer, please run “Pre & Post Tours Visual Presentation” or “Day Tours Visual Presentation”.  Click mouse or keys to progress through photos and slides.
  5. Option 20 is to tailor make your own tour from the tour components, combine tours, or reduce/divide tours or request something not listed.

Making your booking

  1. Fill in the registration form and submit to: GDOPtours@spiritofafrica.co.za
  2. Your tour will then be confirmed by us and an invoice sent to you.
  3. Payment for individual bookings or day tours only will be by credit card only.  Attached to your invoice will be a credit card form for you to fill in and return to us for processing.
  4. Discounts will be possible for large group bookings – please make enquiries if you are booking for more than 20 people.
  5. Payment for groups can be made by international wire transfer direct to our bank account.

Pricing

  1. Please note that itineraries that include nights in Cape Town are priced to either include or exclude Cape Town hotel costs – this gives you the option to extend your own booking at the Cape Town hotel you’re staying in for the conference if this works out better for you.
  2. All prices are “from” the price indicated and can change due to volumes.
  3. Prices are per person sharing.  Single supplement is extra and will be quoted on request.
  4. Pricing is subject to change based on take-up rate from delegates across the conference.  You will be notified if your tour is affected and given all information before credit cards are charged.
  5. Private and luxuary service of tours can be requested on the Registration Form and will be priced individually and quoted directly to you.

PLEASE NOTE:
Capacity of buses, touring vehicles, tour guides and even flights to other areas is limited in Cape Town when it comes to large numbers of delegates attending conferences,.  Also, tourism demand on services will be higher than usual owing to the close proximity of the FIFA Soccer World Cup.  All this restricts last-minute availability.
Therefore, pre-planning and securing a place on a Day Tour or Pre/Post Conference Tour is essential to avoid disappointment from leaving your decision to the last minute.
Spirit of Africa cannot secure the services necessary if registrations are not received timeously.  Late bookings could be subject to a price penalty.
For this reason –
You MUST book your Pre/Post Conference Tours by no later than March 2010 and first deposit is due on 31 March 2010.
You MUST book your Day Tours no later than 31 March 2010; full payment is due by 13 April 2010.
