The Spirit of Africa® is an innovative Destination Management Company commanding the field of special-interest group travel and specialising in customised itineraries.

For 20 years we have been facilitating direct, interpersonal and mutually beneficial contact between our foreign guests and their South African peers, ensuring that each programme provides in-depth, behind the scenes experiences of Southern Africa.   As such we are endorsed by People to People International, an organisation that fosters international understanding through intercultural contact.

Our service takes care of every element of travel, from initial itinerary design through faultless, seamless logistical and travel support services whilst guests are in country to ensure all planning is executed without a hitch.

We are driven by a team of dynamic, passionate South Africans who have a deep desire to promote our much loved country.  In this spirit we strive to see the tourism benefits reach further than just the commercial world and we support sustainable non-profit organisations that work tirelessly to improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.

Yet whilst encompassing all of the above, our primary motivation is to ensure that our clients leave with a deep sense of amazement and a suitcase full of treasured memories.
